In this course, you’ll learn how healthcare research is conducted with the assistance of community partners. You’ll explore topics such as building partnerships, the collaboration between researchers and communities, skill development and ensuring the sustainability of research.

GMS 6853 Improvement and Implementation Science in the Learning Health System

This course provides a deep understanding of how research findings are shared and put into practice to address gaps in the delivery and effectiveness of healthcare. You’ll explore different ways to study this process and focus on involving critical stakeholders like doctors and policymakers in the research. You’ll also have the opportunity to develop an implementation science proposal that addresses a real-world clinical or community issue, in consultation with a researcher and a topic expert.

GMS 6885 Translational Health Research Design

In this course, you’ll get a basic understanding of how research is done in the field of translational health.
